Introducing Freckles!

Freckles is a young beagle who is the definition of classic hound behavior. This busy little guy keeps his nose to the ground and lets it guide him through the world-sniffing, exploring, and investigating every scent along the way. He’s a happy-go-lucky fellow who loves to play and is highly treat motivated, making him a fun and engaging companion.

While Freckles is full of curiosity and enthusiasm, he’s still a small guy in a big world. New people, places, or experiences can be a bit overwhelming for him at first, and he may show some initial timidity-but with patience, reassurance, and a few tasty treats, his confidence continues to grow.

So far, Freckles has shown himself to be quite easy-going around other dogs, and we believe he could thrive in a variety of home settings. Ideally, his future family will understand and appreciate hound behaviors and be excited to provide lots of enrichment, mental stimulation, and opportunities to sniff and explore.

Cats: It is possible, although I have not met any during my time here.
