Steve Terry Classic Baseball Tournament
The Peterborough Baseball Association has announced The Steve Terry Classic baseball tournament July 23 to July 26. 52 teams from across the region in the 8U through 11U divisions will compete throughout the weekend at multiple locations across Peterborough, including Bowers Park, East City Bowl, Kinsmen Park and Brinton Carpet fields. All proceeds will go to the PRHC foundation in support of Youth Mental Health initiatives. Opening Ceremonies will take place on the 23rd at 5 p.m. at Bowers Park. The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Steve “trout” Terry, tournament honouree and one of Peterborough’s biggest sports ambassadors. Community members are encouraged to attend games, support the teams and contribute to fundraising efforts throughout the weekend.
