Two 16-year-old girls are facing charges after an employee was assaulted at a business in Peterborough.
Police say officers were called to the Marina Boulevard and Hilliard Street area just after 3pm on Sunday, where an employee reported being sprayed in the face with an air freshener.
Officers located two suspects matching the description on a nearby trail. Police say the pair ran when they saw officers but were quickly taken into custody.
Both teens are charged with assault with a weapon. They were released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in court on May 25.
