Kids Against Hunger is coming back to Peterborough for the 10th annual ‘One Million Meals’ initiative.
‘One Million Meals’ is a charitable event for packing nutrient rich foods for those who need it.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 11th at the Rhema Christian School at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Since 2016, over 2,000 volunteers have packed 926,640 meals and are only 73,360 meals away from their ultimate goal.
PTBOTODAY.ca spoke with Executive Assistant, Joseph Hughes.
Hughes adds volunteers of all ages and experience are still wanted for the 12:30 shift and it’s a great opportunity to help the community.
