Monday: Free Income Tax Clinic — Hosted by Happy Wanderers from 9 am to 3:30 pm at Mark Street United Church, 90 Hunter St. East, Peterborough. Volunteers will prepare 2025 tax returns on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible low-income individuals (up to $40,000 for singles and $55,000 for couples). Bring all relevant tax slips and rent or property tax information.
Monday: Community care and advocacy workshop — A 90-minute participatory workshop for social service workers from 12–2 pm at Trinity Centre, 360 Reid St., Peterborough. A meal is provided at noon, with the workshop beginning at 12:30 pm. The session focuses on supporting people facing serious illness and care barriers through trauma-informed, person-directed approaches.
Monday: A cappella quartets and choruses — Free live performance presented by Aces of Harmony on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 7–8:30 pm at Cephas Christian Reformed Church, 220 Goodfellow Rd., Peterborough. The show features multiple a cappella groups affiliated with Barbershop Harmony Society, Sweet Adelines, and Harmony Inc., offering a preview ahead of Ontario-wide competitions.
Tuesday: April ChamberAM with EPC Peterborough — Start the morning with networking and conversation from 8–9 am at Employment Planning & Counselling in Peterborough, 418 Sheridan St. Guests can connect with local professionals, share business updates, and hear community news. Refreshments will be provided, and on-site parking is available.
