City of Kawartha Lakes Police charged a 46-year-old man after he was spotted carrying brass knuckles in Lindsay.
At around 3:45pm on Tuesday, officers responded to reports of a man wearing brass knuckles near Kent Street West and William Street.
Police located a man matching the description and discovered he was wanted by another police agency and prohibited from possessing weapons.
The accused was arrested and a set of brass knuckles was seized.
He faces the following charges:
- Carry Concealed Weapon
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay.
