Thursday: World Autism Awareness Breakfast at Lindsay Fish and Grill from 8 am to 9:30 am invites the community to enjoy breakfast in support of autism awareness, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Kawartha Lakes Autism Support. The breakfast will be followed by a flag-raising and meet-and-greet at Kawartha Lakes City Hall at 10:30 am.
Thursday: The Beautiful Mess — A community art-making workshop for adults 18+ hosted by Artspace Peterborough and facilitated by art therapy student Lauren van Eijk. Participants explore self-care and personal reconnection through creative art. 4 pm at Artspace, 378 Aylmer St. N. Free with advance registration at artspaceptbo.ca
Friday: The Way of the Cross — Annual Good Friday prayer devotion in Peterborough, starting at 10 a.m. from Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains and proceeding along Hunter Street to Immaculate Conception Church.
Friday: Easter Egg Hunt — Free family event at New Life Church, 4014 Wallace Point Rd, Peterborough from 11 am to 1 pm (hunt starts at 11:15 am). Activities include an Easter egg hunt with thousands of eggs, prizes, face painting, bouncy castle, cotton candy, kids’ crafts, and more. Bring a basket and join the fun.
