A pedestrian lying on a roadway was injured after being struck, leading to a charge against a Peterborough driver.
The incident happened around 6:00 am on Monday, March 16 in the area of Stewart Street and Hunter Street.
A 32-year-old was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre before being transferred to a Toronto hospital for further treatment.
Following an investigation by the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit, a 60-year-old Peterborough man was charged on Tuesday, March 24 with failing to stop after an accident.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on June 16.
