The City of Peterborough is inviting residents to nominate local volunteers, athletes, and community champions for the 2025 Civic Awards.
The awards recognize outstanding achievements and positive contributions in sports, arts, culture, or volunteer work. Nominations are open for categories including Adult and Junior Athlete of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Cultural and Environmental Betterment, Lifetime Achievement, and the Holnbeck Award for accessibility.
Nominees must live in the City or be part of a city-based group or team, and all must be volunteers. Holnbeck Award nominees may also reside in Peterborough County.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to Tuesday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m.
