The Auxiliary to Campbellford Memorial Hospital is making a difference in patient care and wellbeing.
For their latest project, the auxiliary has purchased two new Burlodge specialized heating and cooling food transport carts. These carts ensure all meals arrive at the proper temperature, as intended.
President Jill Stewart tells us what drives the auxiliary to keep giving.
Auxiliary volunteers note that good nutrition plays a crucial role in not only a patient’s hospital experience, but ultimately, in the healing process.
The new carts are just one of the big projects the auxiliary is focusing on this year. Another key initiative is helping to fund an E-C-G machine for the hospital.
Stewart explains more about the auxiliary’s ongoing efforts.
And there’s more on the horizon. As the fiscal year comes to a close on March 31st, the auxiliary anticipates announcing another donation.
With these projects, the auxiliary continues to play a vital role in enhancing patient care, recovery, and overall hospital experience.
