Two men from Bowmanville are facing charges after police say they were found inside a business during a break-and-enter early.
The Peterborough Police Service say officers were called around 1 a.m. Wednesday, to a commercial property in the Lansdowne Street and Ashburnham Drive area for a reported break-and-enter in progress.
Police say officers arrived and searched the building, where they located two men inside along with several bags containing tools. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the investigation, a 46-year-old Bowmanville man and a 42-year-old Bowmanville man have each been charged with possession of break-in instruments and break and enter to commit an indictable offence.
