Peterborough police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon in the area of Parkhill Road and George Street North.
The incident, which took place inside a residence around 4 p.m., resulted in one person being taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre before being airlifted to a Toronto hospital. Authorities say the shooting appears to be an isolated event.
