Tiffany Arcari, host of Cogeco’s The Tiffany Show, is elevating her third annual International Women’s Day Party with several major additions.
The event, hosted by Arcari on Sunday, March 8, from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m., is billed as a morning of epic giveaways, swag bags and a celebration of local women coming together to share stories, connection and community.
At a press conference Friday, Feb. 20, Arcari offered an early preview of what attendees can expect.
Guest speakers include Zoe King, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters Peterborough, Richa Grover of Horizon Family Naturopathic Clinic, Caryn Mattless of Gauvreau Accounting and realtor Sarah Evans.
Arcari says she hopes the stories shared will foster meaningful connections.
During the press conference, United Way campaign officer Adeline Murphy encouraged residents to bring menstruation products in support of the annual Period Promise donation drive.
Arcari says supporting the United Way through this event is one way she hopes to remove period stigma.
The event will feature more than 75 giveaway prizes donated by local businesses and service providers, including a seven-day retreat in southern France courtesy of Prana Wellness Studio and a $7,000 women’s coaching package from Kat McCartie.
Arcari says she is proud to use her platform to spread positivity.
Tickets are limited and remaining passes are available at TheTiffanyShow.ca.
