What is has become a signature United Way campaign event returns to Showplace on February 26th to in the form of Peterborough Performs: Musicians United To End Homelessness.
At a media event held Thursday (February 12th), event co-founder and organizer Paul Rellinger noted all proceeds from the local live music showcase will again go to United Way-supported shelters and agencies providing relief for the unhoused. Since its inception in March 2020, Peterborough Performs has raised close to $150,000.
This year’s event will see 14 acts perform on two stages over four hours. With this sixth event, 44 acts have been featured, bringing together close to 100 performers.
