When Sue Repath came to Peterborough with her husband in 1994, she looked to get involved with her community on some level.
Now a 30-year volunteer at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, the retiree says the experience has checked a lot of boxes for her and then some.
She clearly recalls being intrigued by the volunteer opportunity when she first learned about it, jumping at the opportunity to give back to the community while helping others.
Over the past few years, Repath has volunteered in wayfinding – helping hospital patients and visitors find their way around the building.
Another reason Repath wanted to volunteer was for social interaction, something she says has been more than satisfied.
