Peterborough is continuing curbside collection of natural Christmas trees throughout January. Residents are asked to keep trees visible and accessible at the curb, especially after recent snowfall.
Snowbanks can block trees and make collection difficult, so clearing snow around trees helps ensure crews can safely retrieve them.
Before placing your tree out for pickup, remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, and plastic bags, and avoid placing trees in snowbanks, on sidewalks, or in roadways.
Collection occurs weather permitting and does not follow regular curbside schedules. Residents do not need to call to request pickup.
