The Carl Oake Rotary Swim is celebrating a major milestone.
This February 27th, participants will take part in the 40th edition of the fundraiser.
Rotary Club of Peterborough President Tony Grady says this is always an event he looks forward to.
Grady explains where the money raised will be focused this time around.
Carl Oake’s daughter and owner of Century 21 United, Vanessa Oake Hogan spoke at the Monday launch and says she’s thrilled to see all the support the event continues to get.
This year’s theme is ‘1986’.
Officials say the main goal of the launch is to encourage members of the public to donate and/or sign up to fundraise and swim a lap, do a cannonball or take the floating catwalk challenge. You can find out more details here.
