Kayla and James are settling into home ownership this week after they and their three children recently received the keys to their new 4-bedroom home.
The family was joined Sunday by community members, guests and Habitat For Humanity Peterborough and Kawartha team members to celebrate their new home on Atchison Road in Fraserville.
James recounted the day they found out they qualify for a Habitat For Humanity home.
James says he and Kayla, like all Habitat families, were involved throughout the building process.
Of note, this is the 100th family welcomed to a new home by the local Habitat For Humanity organization since its 2002 formation.
