A 37-year-old Peterborough man is facing impaired driving charges following a collision.
Police say officers were called to a crash at the intersection of Monaghan Road and Parkhill Road West around 6 p.m. Thursday, where one of the drivers was reported to be possibly impaired. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the driver and observed signs of impairment.
The man was arrested and charged with operation while impaired by alcohol or drugs and careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. He was issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court in February 2026.
