Gauvreau Accounting Tax Law Advisory is bringing the community together with its first-ever “Gauvreau Give It to Win It” campaign, aimed at boosting blood donations at a time when hospitals need them most.
Today marks the campaign’s highlight: a special blood drive at Canadian Blood Services Peterborough, where 20 donation spots have been reserved for staff, clients, and community members. CEO Bob Gauvreau says the goal is to help meet Canada’s ongoing demand for blood, which tends to rise during the busy holiday season while donations drop:
The campaign encourages more than just giving blood. Businesses and residents can refer others, promote the initiative online, or share photos of their team donating. Gauvreau explains how community participation can make a real difference:
Businesses that take part can also enter to win a “Coffee with a Gauvreau Partner” — a one-on-one advisory and strategy session, offered either in person or virtually. Each donation counts as one raffle entry, with bonus entries earned by posting photos on social media using #GiveBloodCanada and #GauvreauGiveToWin or sending them to hello@wealthyentrepreneur.com.
While staff participation is highlighted today, Gauvreau emphasizes that all community members are welcome to donate throughout the campaign to help address Canada’s urgent need for blood:
