Peterborough musicians will feel the love again, thanks to the efforts of one of their biggest supporters.
Musicians’ Appreciation Night will be held December 4th at The Social in downtown Peterborough. Headlining the 7 p.m. event is Bitchin’ Betties, an all-female band.
Organizer Les Manley says he’s bringing the celebration back based on the popularity of last year’s inaugural event.
Manley says thanking local musicians doesn’t happen nearly enough.
Covering the cost of the event, says Manley, is a small price to pay for what he gets back.
Admission is by donation at the door, which will help Manley with costs.
