Peterborough County has launched a new economic development-focused website to support local businesses, strengthen partnerships and highlight the benefits of investing in the county.
Launched to coincide with Small Business Week, the website – which can be found at ecdev.ptbocounty.ca – features current sector highlights, business success stories, a business-related event calendar, and Local Advantage details heralding the county’s strategic location, workforce and quality of life.
County economic development manager Rhonda Keenan speaks to the website’s primary aim.
Keenan notes the website continues a strong county focus on economic development in the aftermath of the 2024 dissolving of Peterborough and the Kawarthas Economic Development.
Looking ahead, Keenan says fostering economic development is “a long game.”
