Drivers and pedestrians will need to adjust their routes as a section of Aylmer Street between Lake Street and Westcott Street will be closed to through traffic from Monday, September 22 until Friday, October 3, for underground sewer replacement.
Northbound traffic will be detoured west on Romaine Street, north on Park Street, and east on Rink Street before returning to Aylmer. Southbound traffic will detour east on Rink Street, south on George Street, and west on Romaine before rejoining Aylmer.
One sidewalk on either the east or west side of Aylmer Street will remain open to pedestrians while work is underway. Local traffic will still be able to access properties within the construction zone.
