Nearly 4,800 students will graduate from Fleming College this week, joining a global network of more than 90,000 alumni.
The college’s 58th annual convocation takes place June 10th and 11th at the Peterborough Memorial Centre, where graduates from over 100 programs will cross the stage to receive their official credentials.
“Convocation is one of the most meaningful moments in the academic journey—it’s a celebration of hard work, resilience and achievement,” said Acting Co-President Al Lambert in a statement.
Students from six academic schools will be honoured, including the School of Health and Community Services, the School of General Arts and Sciences, the Haliburton School of Art and Design, the School of Business and Information Technology, the School of Environmental & Natural Resource Sciences, and the School of Trades and Technology.
“We are incredibly proud of our graduates and the dedication they have shown throughout their time at Fleming,” said Acting Co-President Dr. Theresa Knott. “As they take their next steps, we know they will continue to make a difference in their communities and beyond.”
Fleming College describes convocation as a proud tradition that marks the culmination of students’ academic efforts and the beginning of their next chapter.
