A 29-year-old Apsley man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision in North Kawartha Township.
Peterborough County OPP say officers were called to McFadden Road just before noon on May 13th after a vehicle was reported in a ditch. The driver was arrested at the scene.
He faces charges of impaired operation, operating with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, and failing to surrender an insurance card.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven. Collings is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on June 24.
The OPP reminds drivers to plan ahead and avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
