Residents of Northcrest Ward are invited to a community safety meeting on May 28, 2025, at Activity Haven, 180 Barnardo Ave. The event, running from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., will feature a presentation by the Peterborough Police Service about crime and policing in the north end of the city.
Councillors Andrew Beamer and Dave Haacke are hosting the meeting, offering residents an opportunity to ask questions and provide input on local safety concerns. The session will conclude with a question-and-answer period where attendees can engage directly with police representatives.
This event aims to foster collaboration between the community and local law enforcement to address safety issues and strengthen the neighbourhood.
