The annual Butterfly Run appears to have been a major success, setting a record for pre-registrations.
The run raises awareness and funds for families experiencing pregnancy loss, child loss, or infertility.
Greater Peterborough Health Foundation Executive Director Vince Bierworth said the team is very happy with the turnout.
Bierworth said this year’s goal of 1,045 pre-registrations reflected the event’s growing impact.
Despite earlier concerns about the weather, Sunday’s event went ahead under sunny skies.
Final fundraising totals are still pending.
