A stabbing in Lindsay on Thursday night has led to charges against two men.
Kawartha Lakes police were called to an apartment shortly after 9pm, where an argument between two men escalated into a physical altercation. Police say one man produced a knife but lost control of it, and the other used it to stab him multiple times before fleeing.
The victim was treated at Ross Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police identified the suspect, who later turned himself in.
A 45-year-old Lindsay man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon. He was released with a future court date.
A 29-year-old Lindsay man was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police say there is no risk to public safety.
