Flat Rate Realty’s father and son duo of Adam and A.J. Simmonds are preparing to brighten the holidays for 100 local families with a Christmas dinner giveaway on Saturday. The event, taking place from 12 to 2 pm at their office and Fontaine’s Source for Sports at 725 Park Street South.
Adam says the idea was born out of a desire to address the rising cost of food and bring the community together.
He says the giveaway wouldn’t be possible without support from local sponsors, which helped them achieve their goal of creating 100 hampers packed with everything needed for a festive meal.
In addition to the meal hampers, visitors can enjoy complimentary Tim Hortons coffee, hot chocolate, and treats while soaking in the festive atmosphere. Adam says it’s all about giving back and creating a space for people to feel supported this holiday season.
The Flat Rate Realty team invites everyone to join them Saturday and celebrate the spirit of giving.
