Peterborough’s unemployment rate jumped up last month.
The latest figures put out by Stats Can showed a spike to 4.5 per cent in August from 3.2 in July.
Nationally, the rate went to 6.6 per cent from 6.4.
Experts say the economy added a modest 22,000 jobs, which lagged behind the pace of population growth.
