In its latest update, city officials confirm the section between George and Reid should be clear later this month.
The project, which was supposed to be completed two months ago, was impacted by adding earth retaining structures that were not part of the original details.
Mayor Jeff Leal said at the beginning of construction, that the upgrades and improvements will enhance safety, promote efficient traffic flow, and contribute to sustainability.
