The Buckhorn Festival of the Arts is set to return to the Buckhorn Community Centre on August 17 and 18. Celebrated as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals & Events, the festival continues its longstanding tradition, attracting artists and visitors from across Canada.
This year’s festival will showcase over 70 artists and feature two Special Exhibits: “Home,” which explores regional art and the concept of home, and “Art in the Park,” highlighting large metal sculptures by Jack Stekelenburg throughout Festival Park.
The event will also include an Art-ivity Zone for children, an Amateur Art Competition, live music, and art demonstrations from not-for-profit art organizations.
The festival runs from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Admission is by donation, with free and accessible parking available along with a shuttle bus service to the BCC. For more information, visit buckhorncommunitycentre.com.
