With the clock ticking toward the dissolution of Peterborough and the Kawarthas Economic Development at the end of this year, the search is on for a city-affiliated economic development director.
Applications for the position, which comes with an annual salary between $151,000 and $165,000, are being accepted until July 19.

Sought is ‘a visionary and strategic lead’ who will ‘lead and champion the build-out and launch’ of the city’s new Economic Development Services Division mandated to attract new business and investment to the city, support business start-ups and innovation, support business retention and expansion, and bolster local employment through strategic talent attraction.
