100 Women Peterborough has made another significant impact on our community. At their recent meeting, the philanthropic group announced a donation of more than $10,000 to the Teachers For Kids Foundation.
Founded in 1986, Teachers For Kids Foundation is a registered charity that supports students facing financial hardships, providing essential resources such as sports equipment, meals, and academic support.
The contribution to Teachers For Kids Foundation will help over one hundred female students pursue their educational goals and meet essential needs, demonstrating the group’s commitment to fostering community growth and support.
Since it’s inception the group has donated over $200,000 to local charities.
