The Peterborough Home, Garden and Cottage Show took over the Healthy Planet Arena over the weekend, giving the public a chance to not only see the latest products from many popular businesses but to talk to experts as well.
Hosted by Oldies 96.7 and Freq 90.5, presented by Forest Hill Real Estate, TK and Co Peterborough, this year’s show left organizers thrilled with the overwhelming community response.
Jef Dueck, the Sales Manager of Oldies and Freq and one of the main driving forces in putting the show together, expressed his elation at the event’s success.
With over 160 exhibitors on site, each offering a diverse array of products, Dueck estimates that around 12,000 people attended the two-day event.
Reflecting on the diversity of businesses and services showcased, Dueck noted the extensive range of exhibitors, spanning home improvement, gardening, and cottage maintenance.
Dueck conveyed the community’s appreciation for the array of products and services offered by regional businesses, setting a high bar for future editions of the show. Although the dust has barely settled on this year’s event, Dueck says everyone involved is already looking ahead to next year.
In a resounding testament to the show’s impact, Dueck concluded, “This isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of our community’s spirit and vitality and we’re honored to be a part of it.”
