A GoFundMe appeal for a critically ill Hastings mom is gaining serious traction.
On January 20th, Jessica Lynch gave birth to her fourth child but was back in hospital a week later for emergency surgery to remove infected prenatal tissue. During her surgery, she suffered a severe hemorrhagic cardiac arrest, resulting in a serious brain injury. She remains at Kingston General Hospital in the ICU where she has made little if any progress.
Jessica’s supporters are asking for help covering the family’s financial needs. As of Wednesday (March 13th), close to $5,500 of the $10,000 goal had been raised. To donate, click here.
