The stage is set for the second round of the PJHL playoffs, with the Lakefield Chiefs gearing up to face the Clarington Eagles in a best-of-seven series.
The series kicks off in Clarington on Thursday, at 7:25pm from the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex, with the action shifting to the Lakefield Smith Community Centre on Saturday for a 7:25pm start.
The series will continue to alternate venues, with Game 3 in Clarington on Monday at 7:55pm and Game 4 back in Lakefield on Tuesday at 7:25pm.
If needed, the teams will return to the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex on Thursday for Game 5 at 7:25pm, Game 6 on Sunday at 2pm from the Lakefield Smith Community Centre, and Game 7 on Monday for another 7:55pm start in Clarington.
Both teams swept their opening rounds, with Lakefield shutting out Port Perry in two of their four games, while Clarington only allowed one goal against North Kawartha, outscoring them 36-1 in that series.
