The city is reminding residents to keep all streets clear during the winter months.
Until April 1st, when snow-clearing operations are taking place, there is no parking allowed between midnight and 8 a.m on any city street.
Vehicles parked on any streets north of Parkhill Road during those hours will be towed to Milroy Park, while those south of Parkhill will go to Morrow Park.
Towed vehicles that aren’t picked up within 24 hours will be impounded at the owner’s expense.
During snowstorms, free overnight parking is available in municipal parking garages, with a free Peterborough Transit ride home by showing your entrance ticket.
