A section of Hillside Street is going to be getting a name change, in part to improve the ability of Emergency Services to find properties.
General committee has given preliminary approval to rename Hillside between Cochrane Crescent and Simons Avenue to ‘Deline Street’.
‘Deline’ was chosen from the preapproved list of street names selected from the Peterborough Book of Remembrance.
In accordance with the City Naming Policy, at least 75 per cent of all new streets shall be named after Peterborough’s war dead.
