In 2017, Jane Enright experienced one of the toughest years you could think of, and it all started with a trip to her son’s volleyball match.
Enright, mingling with the other parents while they watch their children compete, had the direction of her life altered in the blink of an eye when a volleyball hit her in the head.
After suffering this brain injury, she then watched her husband suffer a catastrophic injury, before tragically losing her friend; all within 12 months.
During that time period she gained a new outlook on life and was able to put things in perspective, like accepting things you cannot control.
The former public speaker had to learn how to talk again on her road to recover and along the way wrote what’s now a best-selling book “Butter Side Up,”.
