A former Peterborough police officer is inviting mini golf enthusiasts to put their best ball forward to raise money for two local organizations.
Mark Hubble says a tournament will be held August 19th at Milltown Mini Golf off Lansdowne Street West, followed by a pub crawl that will take participants to four downtown pubs. Hubble says proceeds will be shared by two benefactors.
The tournament, says Hubble, starts at 2 p.m. and will see teams of four hit the mini links.
Hubble says the support he has received from businesses that have donated prizes is par for the course.
The registration fee is $30. Those interested in registering can reach Hubble through his social media channels.
