A 35-year-old Peterborough man is facing multiple charges following a break-in that occurred early yesterday morning.
Police received an alarm call around 1:30am from a business located in the vicinity of Lansdowne Street West and Park Street.
Upon arrival, an officer on routine patrol noticed that the front door had been forcefully smashed, and items were discovered missing from a beverage fridge inside the establishment.
While conducting a search of the area, the officers were approached by an individual who confessed to throwing a rock through the window. Additionally, the suspect was found to be in possession of items that matched those stolen from the store.
