Fresh off a big win against the Six Nations Arrows on Sunday, the Peterborough Jr. A Lakers continued their winning ways with a 10-9 victory over the Toronto Beaches last night.
Tom Collins led the offence with four goals, including the game winner with just 39 seconds left on the clock, while goaltender Deacan Knott put on another exceptional performance in net, making a remarkable 50 saves to preserve the Lakers victory.
DJ Clarke also had a big game for Peterborough, with 2 goals and 4 assists.
Other goal scorers on the night were Reece Dicicco, Ben Trumble, Nate Sage and Zack Thompson.
The Lakers will look to make it three wins a row on Friday when they host the Oakville Buzz. Game time is 8pm from the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
