It’s another do-or-die situation for the Peterborough Petes tonight as they get set to face the Kamloops Blazers in a Memorial Cup tiebreaker game.
The winner of tonight’s game will advance to tomorrow’s semifinal against the Seattle Thunderbirds while the loser will be sent home.
This will be the second meeting of the tournament between these two teams, with Kamloops beating Peterborough 10-2 when they met in the round robin on Sunday night.
Petes goalie Michael Simpson says they play their best when their backs are against the wall and feels that tonight should be no different for them.
You can listen to tonight’s tiebreaker game on Oldies 96.7, Freq 90.5 and Classic Rock 107.9, beginning with the Tailgate Show at 8:30 pm.
