The Victoria Day long weekend was seen by many as the official start of the summer tourism season, and the Peterborough region is no exception.

With more than $300 million generated annually by tourism locally, Rees says the sectors importance to the region’s overall economic health can’t be overstated.
Rees says local residents have a role to play when it comes to ensuring visitors’ time here is a great experience that makes them want to return.
