Peterborough’s Five Counties Children’s Centre is throwing a fundraising summer party and tickets for you and a guest are up for grabs.
Set for June 24th at Five Counties’ Dutton Road location, the Backyard Summer Social will feature food and drinks from local businesses, live musical performances, a live auction, outdoor fun activities and behind-the-scenes tours of the centre.
Tickets cost $125 but until May 17th, the Let’s Be Social Backyard Summer Social Contest is offering tickets for two to be won. Five Counties communication coordinator Bill Eekhof explains how it works.
Eekhof notes the event was held for the first time last year and was hugely successful, raising $45,000.
Eekhof says the demand for services offered by Five Counties continues to grow and, by connection, the need for funding.
