Underwear often gets overlooked when donating clothes to those in need, and that’s why the St. Paul’s Presbyterian church has decided to step up and hold two ‘Undie Sundays’ events starting this weekend to try to address the need.
St. Paul’s will be hosting two “Undie Sundays” at their church, on March 19th and March 26th, with the anticipation of collecting donations of new underwear or boxers. All donations will go the YES Shelter for Youth and Families
If you’re unable to make it on either of those Sundays but still want to donate, you can also stop by their offices this month, from Wednesday to Friday, between 9:30am and 4:30 pm at The Mount Community Centre at 1545 Monaghan Road.
Pastor Debora Rolls is challenging other local churches to follow suit and hold their own “Undie Sundays”.
All donations will go the YES Shelter for Youth and Families.
