The local community worked together to help Five Counties Children’s Centre raise $30,125 at this year’s Winterfest event.
The amount raised surpasses the almost $20,000 raised in 2022 and was made possible by virtual and in-person festivities held over Family Day weekend.
Scott Pepin, CEO of Five Counties, expressed his gratitude to the community for their generous support, while thanking their staff, volunteers, families, donors and businesses who contributed to this year’s success.
All proceeds from the event will be used to fund Five Counties’ Building Abilities for Life Campaign, which helps children get access to essential therapies.
Five Counties has been dedicated to supporting children and youth with physical, developmental and communications needs for more than 45 years. In 2022/23, Five Counties is on track to support more than 6,000 kids/youth and their families in our region – the highest number of clients the Centre has ever served in a year.
