After winning their last two games, and picking up their first winning weekend since early January, the Petes were back on home ice Thursday night to see if they could make it three straight against the top team in the West, the Windsor Spitfires.
It marked the first game back from injury for Shane Wright and Owen Beck was back in the lineup for the Petes after his one game suspension.
The Petes were also looking for two big points, going into the game tied for 4th with the Steelheads.
