It’s going to be a new routine, but one Tim Farquharson is looking forward to.
The Peterborough Deputy Police Chief is getting ready to take over as the top cop in Port Hope.
His first day on the job will be March 1st.
A Member of the Order of Merit of Police Services for his role in creating the Peterborough Drug Strategy Task Force, Farquharson, on his own time, has been a tireless advocate for the homeless and those dealing with mental health and addiction challenges. His annual Stand With Tim fundraiser has raised thousands of dollars for the city’s marginalized while increasing awareness of the need for more supports.
